Sausages with Apple Sauce
Peel and quarter the apple, remove the core and cut into wedges.
Fry the sausages in some oil until crispy and then remove.
Add the butter and sugar to the pan and caramelize the apple slices. Pour in the cream, the Calvados and the broth and reduce down while simmering gently. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
Return the sausages to the pan, heat through and serve.
