Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F) convection.

Roll out the puff pastry 4-5 mm (approximately 1/4 inch) thick and cut into 4 rectangles (slightly larger than the sausages). Top with the sausages and fold the dough over. Pinch the edges together and cut each roll into 4 pieces. Place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Mix egg yolk with the cream and brush on the dough.

Bake in the oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and serve with mustard, if desired.
