12 small Sardine (cleaned and heads removed)

1 tablespoon flour
juiced lemons
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 tablespoon olive oil

4 slices Toast (buttered)

Preparation steps

1.
Heat the grill until very hot.
2.
Sprinkle the sardines with salt and flour.
3.
Place the fish in a shallow baking dish and place them under the grill, about 2.5cm|1 inch from the flame, for about 2-5 minutes. The time needed depends on the size of the sardines.
4.
Carefully, using 2 spatulas turn the fish and cook the other side for 2-5 minutes.
5.
Place on the buttered toast and sprinkle with lemon juice, salt and pepper, parsley and oil to serve.
