50 milliliters Rum
500 grams Pastry flour
1 cube fresh Yeast (approximately 42 grams or 1 ounce)
250 milliliters lukewarm milk
100 grams sugar
125 grams chopped, peeled almonds
150 grams Candied lemon
salt
200 grams softened butter

Preparation steps

1.

Soak raisins in rum. Put 250 grams (approximately 9 ounces) of flour into a bowl, create a well in the center.

Cruble yeast into well and stir in a bit of milk and 1 teaspoon sugar. Knead into a dough, cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes. Knead all remaining ingredients into dough and knead well. Cover and let rise again for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Knead dough again and divide into portions, about 60 grams (approximately 2 ounces) each. Shape into small rolls and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Remove, let cool briefly, brush with melted butter and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
