Preparation steps

Peel the oranges thoroughly, making sure to remove the bitter white pith. Remove the whole fruit segments and place in a large pot. Squeeze the juice from the remaining pulp into the pot, then add the cinnamon sticks and star anise. Hang the tea bags in the pot, then pour 800 ml (approximately 27 ounces) of boiling water over them. Let steep 5-10 minutes, depending on your desired strength. Remove the tea bags, sweeten to taste with honey, then add the rum.

Pour into glasses, and serve while still hot.
