6 young, fresh garlic
½ liter dry sherry
8 tablespoons honey

Preparation steps

1.

Peel the garlic and place in a baking dish. Bring the sherry and the honey to a boil. Pour the sherry mixture over the garlic. 

2.

Roast the garlic in a 200°C (approximately 400°F) oven, stirring occasionally. Baste the garlic with the sherry mixture when you stirring. Remove from the oven and let the garlic cloves cool in the cooking liquid. 

3.

Place the garlic in a jar and seal tightly. The garlic will last for 3-4 weeks.

The garlic goes well with white bread, in a vinaigrette, seasoning a sauce, or using for white meats.
