250 grams Pastry flour
2 teaspoons Baking powder

1 Egg
50 grams Butter

Preparation steps

Rinse currants, remove stems and drain.

In a bowl, mix the flour with the baking powder. Add the sugar, egg, soft butter and milk, and beat until smooth. Fold the currants into the muffins. Grease the muffin tin with butter. Divide the batter between the muffin cups and bake in a 175°C (approximately 350°F) oven until cooked through, about 25 minutes.
