1 Rabbit (Divided by the butcher)
4 tablespoons vegetable oil
6 Juniper berries
½ liter dry Red wine
2 tablespoons Crème fraiche
125 milliliters Chicken broth
400 grams Prune (pitted)
salt
freshly ground peppers

Preparation steps

Heat the oil in a deep skillet and saute the rabbit pieces until golden brown on all sides. Deglaze with the red wine and the broth  and stir in the prunes and juniper berries and season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, cover and simmer over low heat until the rabbit is tender, about 50 minutes.

Uncover during the last 15 minutes and let boil down slightly. Remove from the heat and stir in the creme fraiche and season with salt and pepper.
