Rabbit Stew with Beer and Juniper Berries
Rinse rabbit, pat dry and cut into 8 pieces. Cut bacon into thirds. Rinse liver, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
Arrange rabbit pieces with bacon, liver, peeled and sliced garlic, spices and herbs in an oiled roasting pan, season with salt and pepper and mix well. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 40-50 minutes. Occasionally baste meat with beer. Serve.
