600 grams Pumpkin (such as butternut)
400 grams stale white bread
softened butter (for the molds)
200 milliliters Beef broth (or vegetable broth)
200 milliliters Whipped cream
4 eggs
peppers (freshly ground)
Nutmeg

120 grams grated Cheddar cheese

Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Cut the pumpkin and the white bread into large cubes and place in a large buttered baking dish or 4 small serving dishes.

Whisk the broth with the cream and the eggs. Season with pepper, nutmeg, chili and a little salt and pour over the bread and pumpkin. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until golden brown, about 50 minutes.
