Puff Pastry with Nutella

- 300 grams Puff pastry dough
- 4 tablespoons chocolate-nut spread
- 100 grams powdered sugar
- 100 milliliters Whipped cream
- Food coloring
- Chocolate candy
- Pastry flour (for the work surface)
Preparation steps
Thaw the puff pastry. Layer the puff pastry. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to a large rectangle.
Spread nutella onto half of the puff pastry, then fold the other half on top.
Cut the dough into 4 cm thick slices (approximately 1.5 inches), then halve again lengthwise but not quite to the top. The two strands will be held together at the top. Wind each set of two strands around each other and press the ends together. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (approximately 400°F) for 15-20 minutes. Remove, cut the ribbons to about 8 cm pieces (approximately 3 inches) and cool.
Stir the powdered sugar with cream until smooth, dye with food coloring as desired, spread onto the puff pastry and decorate with chocolate candies.
