Puff Pastry Apple Tartlets
Thaw the puff pastry slices. Rinse the apples, peel, core and slice thinly. Place the apple slices in a bowl and toss with the lemon juice. Cut the puff pastry slices in half and roll out slightly larger on a floured surface. Create a crust by scoring the puff pastry with a wooden skewer along the inside edge.
Place the puff pastry rectangles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with a thin layer of the apricot jam and layer with the apple slices.
Coarsely chop the hazelnuts, crush the cereal and sprinkle both over the apple slices. Distribute the butter over the top and bake in an oven preheated to 220°C (approximately 425°F) for about 12 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar and serve.
