Preparing Leek Palm Trees
Rinse, trim and cut the leek into 2-3, 15 cm (approximately 6 inch) pieces.
Cut the leek pieces with a sharp knife from one side every 2-3 mm while rotating the leek lengthwise. Make sure to leave the leek pieces freely from the bottom about 5 cm (approximately 2 inches) and cut only up to the middle. Do not cut completely!
Chill the finished leek palm trees in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
