Preparation steps

1.

Rinse potatoes and beetroots and cook together for about 30 minutes (beetroot might take a bit longer). Peel and dice potatoes. Peel beetroots and dice.

Peel onion and chop finely. Peel apple, quarter, core and dice. Chop walnuts coarsely. Pat dry herring and cut into strips. Combine all prepared ingredients in a bowl.

3.

Combine sour cream with yogurt, 1-2 tablespoons of water and parsley, mix until smooth. Season with lemon juice, sugar, salt and pepper. Toss salad with a dressing.

4.

Let stand for about 10 minutes and serve.
