300 grams Pastry flour
1 pinch salt
200 grams butter (in flakes)
1 packet Vanilla sugar
125 grams sugar
1 packet Poppy seed filling (Finished product)

Preparation steps

1.

Mix all ingredients except the poppyseed, and knead into a smooth dough. Form it into a ball, wrap in foil and put in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

On a floured surface, roll out the dough until rectangular and about 5 mm (approximately 1/4 inch) thin, pour the poppyseed filling on it and with your hands, roll the dough from the long side into a tight roll.

Cut slices about 5 mm wide (approximately 1/4 inch) and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C, approximately 350°F) for about 18 minutes, or until golden. Remove and let cool.
