Rinse plums, halve and pit, cut into wedges. Combine milk with sugar, salt, orange peel, almonds and oatmeal. Whisk well and heat on low heat, stirring vigorously. Bring to a boil.

Place pot into ice water bath and cool mixture, stirring. Grease four glass bowls. Beat egg yolks with cooled mixture and add plum liqueur. Beat egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and very carefully fold into mixture.

Pour half of batter into bowls, place 2-3 plum wedges on top and add remaining batter, leaving about 1 cm margin (approximately 1/2 inch). Bake in preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for about 20 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
