1 teaspoon dried thyme
200 grams Mozzarella

Preparation steps

For the dough, place flour in a bowl and make a well in the middle. Crumble the yeast into the well and add a litttle of the lukewarm water. Top with a little flour and allow to rest for 15 minutes. Mix in remaining water, salt and oil and knead to a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.

For the topping, blanch tomatoes in boiling water, rinse with cold water and peel. Cut into small cubes and bring to a brief boil with 1 tablespoon oil in a pot. Season with thyme, salt and pepper. Cut mozzarella into slices. Cut salami into thin slices.

Lightly oil a pizza pan. Knead the dough again, roll out and press into to the pan. Form a slightly thicker edge. Preheat the oven to 250°C (approximately 480°F). Spread the tomato sauce over the dough. Top with mozzarella and salami slices and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake pizza in the oven until the cheese melts, 12-15 minutes.
