Preparation steps

For the cookies: Mix the flour with the spices, cocoa, and sugar. Make a well in the center. Beat the egg lightly and Pour into the well. Add the butter. Quickly knead by hand into a smooth dough. Wrap the ball in plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Place the dough on a floured surface and roll out to 1/3 cm (approximately 1/8 inch) thin. Cut out stars or snowflakes. Place on a parchment-lined baking tray. Bake in a preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the tray.

For the topping: Mix 2/3 of the powdered sugar with the raspberry juice and pour over the cookies. Stir the remaining powdered sugar with the milk until smooth. Transfer into a freezer bag, cut off one corner and pipe over the cookies.

Allow to dry again and serve.
