Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Mix the flour, butter, sugar, egg and milk to a dough. Refrigerate 20 minutes. Grease a pie dish (23 cm diameter, approximately 9 inches). Roll out the dough and place in the pie dish, pulling up the edges. For the filling, mix eggs and butter together well with an electric mixer. Fold in flour, vanilla, sugar, agave syrup, whiskey and chopped pecans. Spoon into the dough and garnish with pecan halves. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 170°C (approximately 340°F) and bake for another 40 minutes.
