- Pastry flour (for dusting)
- 2 cans Pear (each around 425 ml) (approximately 14 ounces)
- 100 grams Walnut
- 200 grams Dark chocolate
- 150 grams butter
- 6 eggs
- 150 grams sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 100 grams Crème fraiche
- 200 grams Pastry flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsps Baking powder
Preparation steps

Grease a baking sheet with butter and dust with flour. Drain the pears and cut into wedges.

Toast the nuts in a dry frying pan until fragrant. Remove from the pan, chop coarsely and let cool. Chop the chocolate. Melt in a small saucepan with the butter over low heat then let cool slightly.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F).

Whisk the eggs, sugar and salt for about 5 minutes until creamy. Stir in the crème fraîche and the chocolate butter. Combine the flour, cinnamon and baking powder and stir in until just combined. Fold in the walnuts. Arrange the pears on the prepared baking sheet, spread the batter over top and bake for about 25 minutes. Let cool and serve cut into pieces with whipped cream, if desired.
