Ingredients

For the pancakes
200 grams
300 milliliters

Sunflower oil (for frying)
For the topping
4 teaspoons

Prosciutto (thinly sliced)

Preparation steps

1.

For the pancakes, melt the butter. Combine the flour, salt and milk and mix until smooth. Add the eggs and butter and mix everything into a smooth batter. Leave to rest for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime, heat a little oil in a nonstick frying pan.

Fry 8 thin pancakes out of the batter.

For the topping, drain the mozzarella and cut into 16-20 slices. Drizzle the pancakes lightly with some honey and cut into quarters. Cover with the mozzarella and the fig slices, season with salt and pepper and place beside each other on an ovenproof plate.

Cover with aluminum foil at bake at 200°C (approximately 400ºF) for about 10-15 minutes.

Serve each pancake with a twisted slice of ham.
