Oven Baked Apples with Calvados
Rinse the apples and cut off a lid. Carefully remove the core. Roast the almonds in a dry frying pan. Place the apples on a lightly buttered baking sheet. Top with almonds, raisins and sprinkle with sugar.
Drizzle each apple with a teaspoon of calvados. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F. Bake the apples for 30 minutes.
Optional: Serve hot with whipped cream.
