whole Orange (zested and juiced)
120 grams
250 milliliters
freshly brewed Mocha
4 teaspoons
dark rum
4 teaspoons
brown Sugar
100 milliliters
1 teaspoon
2 tablespoons
toasted, ground Hazelnuts

Preparation steps

Combine the orange zest, orange juice, sugar and about 80 ml (approximately 1/3 cup) of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes, until thickened. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

Prepare 4 mugs and add 1 teaspoon of the orange syrup to each. Top with freshly brewed mocha and stir in 1 teaspoon of dark rum and brown sugar. Beat the heavy cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff and spoon a dollop into each mug. Garnish with the ground hazelnuts and serve immediately.
