For the potted sardines

preserved Sardine (drained)
¾ cup
unsalted butter (softened)
½ teaspoon
ground Mace

lemon (juiced)
For the garnish

Baguette (cut into strips)

Preparation steps

In a food processor, blitz the sardines and the butter so that there is still a little texture to the fish.
2.
Season to taste with the mace, lemon juice and salt and pepper.
3.
Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
4.
When ready to serve, serve with the strips of baguette alongside.
