4 tablespoons
½ teaspoon
organic Lemon zest

½ teaspoon
1
Milk (as needed)

175 grams
mixed Nuts (such as hazelnuts, almonds and walnuts)

Preparation steps

1.

Place the butter with the honey and lemon zest into a small pan and melt. Mix the flour with the baking powder in a bowl. Add in the egg and the butter/sugar mixture, and mix into a smooth dough. If necessary, add a little milk.

2.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (approximately 350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3.

Spread the dough to just 1 cm (approximately 1/2 inch) thin onto the baking sheet. Coarsely chop the nuts (possibly in a food processor) and sprinkle evenly over the dough. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.

4.

Remove the sheet from the oven. Cut into pieces while still warm and leave to cool before serving.
