Preparation steps

Preheat the oven to 120°C (approximately 250°F). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Whip egg whites with the salt until stiff. Sprinkle with sugar and continue to beat until mixture shines. Stir together the ground nuts, espresso powder, and cinnamon and fold into the egg whites.

Use 2 teaspoons to shape cookies and place onto the baking sheets. Bake for 25 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the macarons dry for about 30 minutes with the oven door slightly open. Finally, remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving.
