New Year's Eve Cookies
With these biscuits not only fun is guaranteed: Hearty spelt flour provides a mild nutty aroma, while almonds are among the top suppliers of vitamin E, beta-carotene and the B vitamins. And it works without refined sugar, too. Instead, honey provides a mild sweetness.
This guarantees that the biscuits will not dry out: Too much flour on the work surface makes the dough dry quickly and the cookies dusty. If it still sticks, simply roll out the dough between two layers of baking paper. Close to baking it gets hot: immediately off the baking tray. Otherwise they will bake on the hot baking tray and become hard.
