Preparation steps

Rinse and chop the mushrooms. Peel and dice the onion and garlic. Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a pan. Saute the mushrooms, onion and garlic until translucent. Puree with the nuts and cheese. In a bowl, mix the eggs, creme fraiche, thyme and season with salt and pepper. Mix in the mushroom puree.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Grease the pan with butter and line with the dough, forming an edge. Pour in the mushroom mixture. Bake for about 50 minutes, until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool. Serve garnished with mushrooms, macadamia nuts and violets.
