1 Cutting board, 1 Brush, 1 Small knife, 1 Mini food processor, 2 Small bowls, 1 Teaspoon, 1 large Bowl, 1 Sieve, 1 Hand mixer, 1 wide Pot (with lid), 1 Tablespoon, 1 Wooden spoon, 2 Slotted spatulas, 1 Measuring cups, 1 large Pot (with lid), 1 Aluminum foil, 1 Whisk, 1 Fork

Preparation steps

Clean mushrooms, set 125 grams (approximately 1/2 cup) aside and finely chop the rest in a mini processor. Mix in a small bowl with 1 teaspoon salt. Let stand for 1 hour.

Meanwhile, soak the bread cubes in 150 ml (approximately 1/2 cup) of warm water. Squeeze out excess liquid with your hands and place bread cubes in a large bowl.

Peel onion, chop finely and add to the bread cubes.

Place mushrooms in a sieve set over a bowl. reserving liquid.

Combine mushrooms and beef with the bread cubes in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and knead with dough hook of a hand mixer.

Shape mixture into a long loaf.

Heat the oil in a large pot and brown the meatloaf over medium heat on all sides until it has formed a crust.

Mix tomato juice with the broth and the reserved mushroom liquid. Pour over meatloaf, cover and cook over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Turn off heat.

Meanwhile, scrub potatoes thoroughly and cook until knife-tender in boiling salted water, about 20 minutes. Cut the mushrooms into thin slices and set aside.
