Preparation steps

1.

Thoroughly scrub potatoes and boil in salted water until knife-tender, about 25 minutes. Drain, rinse with cold water and drain again.

Rinse radish, trim and cut in half lengthwise. Cut into 8 slices to use as ears. Cut chives into 2 cm (approximately 1 inch) long pieces for whiskers.

3.

Mix quark with yogurt and chives. Season with salt and pepper.

4.

 Place a dollop of quark mixture on a plate. Top with a drained potato. Add a quark nose and make eyes with peppercorns and whiskers with chives. Cut two slits on top and insert radishes for ears.

5.

Serve remaining quark mixture on the side with cheese and salad if desired.
