- Pastry flour (for the mold)
- 100 grams Dark chocolate
- 100 grams butter
- 1 Vanilla bean (split lengthwise, seeds scraped out)
- 100 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon Pastry flour
- 100 grams ground almonds
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation steps
Preheat the oven to 180°C (approximately 350°F). Grease the springform pan and sprinkle with flour.
Chop the chocolate coarsely and melt over a hot water bath with the butter. Remove from the heat and mix in the vanilla bean seeds and sugar. Gradually mix in the eggs and then stir in the flour, almonds, baking powder and salt.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smooth the surface and bake for around 25-30 minutes.
Remove the cake, let cool until lukewarm, remove from the mold and serve dusted with powdered sugar.
