Preparation steps

For the dough, mix butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until fluffy. Gradually stir in eggs. Stir in the espresso. Mix flour with the baking powder and sift together. Grate the mocha flavored chocolate. Alternately stir flour, chocolate, hazelnuts and whiskey into the egg mixture.

Spread the dough in the baking pan and smooth the surface. Bake cake on the middle rack in the oven for about 25 minutes and let cool slightly. For the icing, mix powdered sugar with espresso and mocha liqueur. Spread the icing on the cake. Melt the mocha flavored chocolate, transfer to a small piping bag and pipe chocolate lines on the cake.
