Mixed Berry and Mascarpone Cream Parfait
Rinse berries, drain and pat dry, if needed and mix berries, powdered sugar and grappa in a bowl, at set aside for about 10 minutes to marinate. Drain in a colander over a bowl and collect marinade.
Puree half of berries and marinade and press through a sieve, if desired.
Whip cream. Mix mascarpone, yoghurt and berry puree and fold into whipped cream.
Place a layer of mascarpone cream in bottom of dessert glass and alternate layers of berries, flower petals and mascarpone cream in dessert glasses until ingredients are used. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. To serve, garnish with flower petals.
