Mint Sorbet with Berries
Lime is full of vitamins, particularly vitamin C, which boosts your immunity and fights against harmful infections and illnesses.
You can substitute honey, agave, or maple syrup for regular sugar.
Heat the water and sugar in a saucepan until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat, add the lime juice and let cool.
Stir in the creme de menthe, if using. Transfer the mixture to a metal bowl and freeze for 5 to 6 hours.
Remove from the freezer 10 minutes before serving.
To serve, scrape the granita with a tablespoon to form small flakes. Spoon the sorbet into dessert glasses and garnish with the berries and mint leaves.
