0.333 cup superfine caster sugar

2 tablespoons dried Rose petal (shredded)

Preparation steps

1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160 fan) | 350°F | gas 4 and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

Mix together the flour, ground almonds and caster sugar in a bowl, then rub in the butter, rose water and rose petals.
3.
Knead gently until the mixture forms a smooth dough. Divide the dough into 20 balls and flatten slightly onto the baking tray.
4.
Bake the biscuits for 15-20 minutes, turning the tray round halfway through. Transfer the biscuits to a wire rack and leave to cool.
