Preparation steps

Mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of orange juice. Boil remaining juice with sugar. Stir in cornstarch and bring to a boil again to thicken. Add blueberries, boil again and cool.

For the waffles, mix flour and baking powder. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Separate eggs and beat egg whites until stiff. Mix egg yolks, milk, sugar and vanilla sugar into flour mix. Add melted butter to egg whites and fold into mixture. Heat and grease waffle iron and add batter according to waffle iron directions. Serve meringue waffles with blueberry sauce.
