200 grams Marzipan
220 grams powdered sugar
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Food coloring
sugar Bead (silver and gold)

Preparation steps

Line baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 200°C (fan oven 180°C) (approximately 400°F/convection 350°F). Mix marzipan with 100 grams (approximately 3/4 cup) powdered sugar and knead together. Roll flat between two sheets of parchment paper. Cut out hearts and stars from the marzipan and place on the baking sheet.

Bake in the oven 5 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. For the topping, blend remaining powdered sugar with lemon juice until smooth. Tint with food coloring as desired and brush the cookies with the icing. Decorate with sugar beads.
