2 fresh, green chili peppers
1.333 cups Fruit Vinegar
2 Tbsps light Mustard seed
cup cane sugar
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp cayenne pepper

Preparation steps

Peel, quarter and core the apples. Peel the mangos and cut the flesh away from the stone. Halve and deseed the chillies, rinse and cut into rings. Put all the ingredients into a pan, bring to the boil and simmer, stirring, for about 40 minutes, until the chutney is fairly thick. Pour into jars rinsed in hot water and seal immediately. Stand upside down for at least 15 minutes, then turn over and leave to cool completely. Store in a cool, dark place. Will keep for about 3 months.

To give as a gift, cool slightly and pour into pretty jars, then use as soon as possible.
