1 teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Orange zest (organic)
3 eggs
2 tablespoons honey
2 centiliters Rum
100 grams sugar

Preparation steps

1.

Preheat oven to 160°C (approximately 325°F). Grease the wells of a Madeleine baking sheet with butter.

Melt the butter. Mix flour with almonds, baking powder and orange zest. Whip eggs with honey, rum and sugar until creamy. Add butter and flour mixture and stir everything into a smooth dough.

Pour batter into the wells of Madeleine baking sheet (each well about 3/4 fill) and bake until golden brown about 15 minutes in the oven. Carefully detach from the wells and leave to cool on a wire rack. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve as desired with rich tea.
