2 tablespoons powdered sugar
3 tablespoons Vanilla pudding (Finished product)
2 tablespoons chopped, mixed Nut (such as pistachios, hazelnuts, almonds)

Preparation steps

Whisk egg whites with lemon juice and salt until thickened. Gradually add in sugar and vanilla sugar while continually stirring. Stir until meringue is glossy and sugar has dissolved. Preheat the oven to 90°C (approximately 200°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

With a teaspoon, spoon small dollops of meringue onto the prepared sheet and dust with some icing sugar. Immediately slide meringues into the oven. Allow meringues to bake until dry about 3 hours. Keep the oven door slightly ajar by propping the door open with a wooden spoon. For the cream filling, beat butter until creamy, gradually stir in icing sugar and then add vanilla pudding. Put butter cream in a pastry bag with a star tip and pipe cream filling onto half a cooked meringue. Top with another meringue. Serve sprinkled with chopped nuts. Store in paper bag.
