Macaroni and Cheese
Cook the macaroni until al dente in boiling salted water. Drain and rinse the macaroni.
Sauté the bacon with the chopped onion in the butter. Mix in the flour, sauté shortly, then gradually incorporate the cream and milk. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Preheat the oven to 200°C (approximately 400°F). Place the macaroni in a baking dish, add the sauce, and mix to combine. Top with the cheese, and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
