3 large cooked potatoes
2 small onions
2 eggs (hard-boiled)
2 Beets (cooked)
2 carrots
125 grams Russian Mayonnaise (Provencal)

Preparation steps

1.

Rinse herring fillets under cold water and pat dry. Dice into small cubes. Peel potato, peel onions, peel eggs and cut all into small cubes. Peel beets and carrots and slice into sticks.

Layer ingredients in a bowl, starting with half each of the potatoes, herring, onions, eggs, and vegetable sticks. Spread with mayonnaise. Repeat layers with the remaining ingredients.

Cover salad and refrigerate at least 4 hours. Take out of refrigerator about 20 minutes before serving. To serve, scoop layered portions with a large spoon and serve on plates.
