200 grams crumbled Pumpernickel bread (or whole wheat bread)
5 sugar
2 butter
150 grams Quark
200 grams Whipped cream (whipped)
200 grams
2 centiliters Cherry brandy (kirsch)

Preparation steps

1.

Mix the bread crumbs with 3 tablespoons sugar. Melt the butter in a skillet and saute the bread crumb mixture until very crispy, stirring constantly. Spread in a baking pan to cool.

Stir the quark with the remaining sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream. Mix the drained cherries with the kirsch,

Pour a layer of cherries with liquid into 4 large goblets. Layer with crumbs, quark mixture, remaining cherries, crumbs and remaining quark mixture. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Sprinkle with crumbs just before serving.
