Preparation steps

1.

Irish coffee is traditionally served in a special Irish Coffee glass or in another long-stemmed and heat-resistant glass.

2.

Pour sugar into the glass. Heat whisky until warmed and pour over the sugar, or warm the glass heat over a warmer especially designed for warming cocktail classes. When the whiskey is warm, carefully ignite with a burning match. Deglaze flame with hot coffee.

3.

Beat cream until thickened and carefully pour over the back of a spoon onto the coffee. Serve sprinkled with a pinch of cinnamon.
