brown Sugar

Vanilla bean (seeds)

200 milliliters
dark rum (such as Old Monk or Jamaica)

Butter flakes (unsalted)
freshly grated Nutmeg

Preparation steps

1.

Heat 600 ml (approximately 2.5 cups) of water, sugar, vanilla and star anise in a saucepan. Pour into 4 heat-resistant glasses. Fill with rum. Add a flake of butter to each glass. Season with a pinch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve immediately.
