Put all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well with your hands to form a dough. Wrap in cling film and chill for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 160°C (140° fan) 325°F gas 3. Line 2 baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
Roll pieces of the dough into 5 cm | 2" long finger-thick rolls and curve each into a crescent.
Place on the baking trays and bake for 10-15 minutes until pale golden. Sift a thick layer of icing sugar over the crescents, while still hot. Leave to cool.
