Preparation steps

For the dough: Melt the honey with the butter and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Knead together with the other cake ingredients until smooth. Roll one-half of the dough on a greased baking sheet and prick several times with a cake. 

For the filling: Puree the apricot jam and press through a sieve. Mix with the sugar, orange peel, almonds, and raisins. Spread over the dough. Roll the remaining dough out to the size of a baking sheet and place over the filling. Press lightly and prick with a fork several times. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (approximately 350°F) for 55 minutes.

For the topping: Mix the powdered sugar and orange juice into a smooth glaze and spread on the hot cake. Let cool, then cut into squares as desired.
