- 8 Pickled herring
- 100 grams Mayonnaise
- 100 grams Sour cream
- 2 bay leaves
- 5 allspice
- 2 Red onions
- 2 Pickled cucumbers
- 2 tart Apple
- 1 bunch Dill
- salt
- peppers (a pinch of sugar)
Preparation steps

Rinse the fillets and pat dry. Cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix mayonnaise with sour cream. Add bay leaves and allspice berries and season with salt, pepper and sugar. Peel the onions and cut into rings.

Finely dice the pickles. Rinse apples, cut into quarters, remove cores and cut into thin slices. Mix mayonnaise with onions, cucumber and apple slices. Rinse dill, set aside a few sprigs for garnish and chop remaining leaves. Stir chopped dill into the mayonnaise mixture. Mix herring with the sauce and serve garnished with dill sprigs.
