- 150 grams Sour cream (or creme fraiche)
- 100 grams Sour cream
- 100 grams yogurt (whole milk)
- 1 teaspoon mild Dijon mustard
- freshly ground pepper
- 1 bunch fresh mixed Fresh herbs (such as parsley, dill, watercress, lemon balm, chives)
- 4 Pickled herring
Stir creme fraiche, sour cream, yogurt and mustard until combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Rinse herbs and shake dry. Finely chop leaves and stir into cream sauce.
Dab herring with cream sauce. Serve with hearty whole grain bread.
