- 8 Pickled herring
- 2 onions
- 4 Pickled cucumbers (with 3-4 tablespoons of pickle juice)
- 2 sour Apple
- 100 grams Mayonnaise
- 100 grams Whipped cream
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped Dill
- 1 Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
- 1 tsp Juniper berries
- salt
- freshly ground peppers
- 1 pinch sugar
Preparation steps

Rinse the fish, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Cut the pickles lengthwise into quarters then cut into pieces. Rinse the apples, quarter, core and cut into pieces.

Toss all prepared ingredients together and arrange in a serving bowl. Mix the mayonnaise, sour cream, herbs and juniper berries together and season with pickle juice, salt, pepper and 1 pinch of sugar.

Add to the fish salad, toss to combine and chill until required. Stir and season with salt and pepper before serving.
